The need to regain our consciousness, our synchronicity with nature is as paramount as anything else imagined in the most crucial times in human history. This non-compliance to the force of nature is the very drowning of humanity into the dark ages. We are marching our way away from the age of enlightenment, towards the nobodies of historical space and time. We are the forgotten brothers of God. A forgotten species who had their past in alchemy, magic and spirits. We had hit the alchemical gold in the form of self-awareness and we chose, we chose to give it all away to the forces of logic and reasoning. We have to accept that reasoning alone will not lead us out of this gutter that we find ourselves in, we should instead plunge into the abyss. We would have to dive deep into the darkness to bring back a candle of light into this world. It is important to speak out our truths as blatantly as we can. It is our moral responsibility to not give into the forces of societies that blind us from finding out who we are. Society is a hoax. Get out of the tribal game. We should be straightforward in saying f you to the forces of this society that are driving us towards the road that leads to our own extinction. Unless we ourselves do not confront our past, our magical histories and free our minds from these dreadful mental prisons, we will never be able to be totally free.
Freedom is a necessity to every living being who is conscious enough to feel his presence into this world of matter.
Why should we be normal? We have always been the crazy humans who wandered all around this world, where the natural world provided for all our needs. The plunge into the dark space is what got us to this place, and now the norm is taking us away from it. Aldous Huxley, writer of the dystopian novel, A Brave New World, prophesied the very situation that we find ourselves in today. It seems almost a lost art, where we did random things and flowed with the natural forces, where we followed our dreams and dreamt them into reality. We have to reject the brainwashing that this society has put upon us. People say, not everyone is in the position to drop out from society, that my friends are the biggest lie they are telling themselves. Gandhi said in his book, My Experiments with Truth, “if I am able to do it, then I believe anyone is able to do it.”
It takes the idea of radical truth to confront our realities into existence. It won't be easy, but it is the only possible way out of this tragedy. Either we accept our fate or we consciously live to create what our visions tell us. Either we die being normal, or we go against everyone in the pursuit of truth and mental peace. Peace is all we should be striving for. Nature, with all its complications, is always at peace. Tsunamis rise and fall in order to resume peace. We are made to live in the past- at all times. We are made to see the opinions of other people in order to form our own understanding, to form our own truth. To relax ourselves, we put on some news channel to see what is happening in the world, completely forgetting our present experience. Our felt experience is the only truth that there is in this world of phenomena. We give into the words of gurus and babas. We join congregations, cults to feel heard, to feel that we belong somewhere. We can never realize truth in other peoples experiences, we can only find truth within ourselves.
“We can speak and think only of what exists. And what exists is uncreated and imperishable for it is whole and unchanging and complete. It was not or nor shall be different since it is now, all at once, one and continuous.”
― Parmenides
The rapidity with which change has to occur, can be a bit disheartening. No one has that much time to work on themselves - or maybe you are not just working hard enough. The world leaders will see their incompetence in their everyday experience if they tune themselves with mother earth. It is necessary that we see this. It is necessary that we use all that nature has provided us with, in order to witness truth in its truest form- to witness our presence as divine beings on this planet, where we were partners in the creation. All the knowledge of our past resides within each cell of our body, waiting to be manifested into reality. Nature was always rewarding to the ones who dared to take the brave step, who decided to dive into madness. The reason why we have a past where stories are of heroes and brave men and women is because they dared to do the undoable. We all are that. We find evidence in many spiritual texts, like this one..
“So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”
Luke 11:9
Bravery is a quality that nature likes with all its heart. Try this, think of something that you always wanted to do, that you think is impossible and witness for yourself how nature removes obstacles that are placed in the way. It is a smooth road when the intention is clear. Intuition guides us at each step, as if we have an inner Google engine that works separately for each individual. In Terrence McKenna's words, " It is to dive into the abyss and realize that it was a feather bed all along''. It is now more than ever that we take the brave step, that we decide to not follow the path laid in front of us. If we take enough diversions, we are already into the unknown. With each brave step, the pace towards sanity increases until we reach the place or at least strive to reach the place where we are one with the force of nature.
Nature never wanted us to be cowards, nature wanted us to be brave and find for ourselves what is right and what is wrong. No one controlled us for a long time, until we formed societies and decided to surrender this freedom to kings or in today's terms 'governments'.. these started as a noble exercise, but as history has repeated itself innumerable times, noble exercises have the tendency to turn into egotistical marches when the noble individual steps down. Power given to individuals for collective good, turns into subjugation of entire systems, until the entire society turns into a slave. We are living in a time when slavery is greatly rewarded. To be the rats, into the systems is the peak of obedience. Money is used in such a way that the ones not asking questions, the ones silently going about their jobs, get to survive into this world. The ones daring to question are thrown into the mental health institutions, even jailed for merely speaking the truth. Thus, tuning in with yourself is a great responsibility, greater than heads of states even. When you are willing to take that risk, you are willing to take a greater responsibility- to share truth, to speak what you see and hear in those moments of clarity — but remember, you have to go through suffering to reach a place of salvation.
“Before the truth sets you free, it tends to make you miserable.”
― Richard Rohr, Falling Upward: A Spirituality for the Two Halves of Life
The world is not how we were made to believe, the world is a living object in which everything is alive, everything is growing. Every tree, every weed, every tiny and massive animal, including you, have a right to exist here. You are not a number, a word inscribed somewhere in between the thousands of pages of child birth records. It is your birth right to belong in this world. Sadly, the west as well as the east have played the devil's advocate in creating such mentally unstable societies, where crime and stupidity were the basis of governance. Wars are being fought in order to prove how one's ideas are superior and others inferior. In many cases these wars are a form of ego boost for one individual rather than a collective, the collective is always taken for granted. You are always taken for granted. When one person or a small group of people decide to drag an entire nation into a war, it becomes our duty to resist— non-violently. We will have to get out of this by rejecting the ideas that are being presented without our consent. We need to regain our senses. Shut off the needless imagery that is being presented. We need to go back to dreaming our existence into reality.
“People who’ve had any genuine spiritual experience always know that they don’t know. They are utterly humbled before mystery. They are in awe before the abyss of it all, in wonder at eternity and depth, and a Love, which is incomprehensible to the mind.”
― Richard Rohr
Nature is the controller and nature should decide who is brave enough to march into the quest of meaning. We should be listening to the tribes who have been practicing this art for thousands of years.
As we journey through the intricate tapestry of life, let us remember that our true power lies not in force, but in the quiet, sacred strength of our spirit. The world is not a machine of endless cogs; it is a living, breathing entity, and we are woven into its very essence. In every tree, every stream, every creature, and in the very pulse of our own hearts, there is a divine presence—a reflection of the sacred unity that binds all existence.
In a world that often seeks to fragment us, to pit us against one another, it is our spiritual duty to resist—to rise above the chaos, not with violence, but with a deep, inner peace that transcends the turmoil. We are not mere numbers or names lost in records; we are sparks of the divine, with a birthright to belong, to be seen, to be heard.
Let us reject the illusions that cloud our vision and return to the sacred roots of our being, where dreams are prayers whispered to the universe, waiting to be made manifest. It is time to close our eyes to the distractions of the world and open them to the deeper truths within us. Listen to the voice of the Earth, feel the rhythm of your own breath, and know that you are part of something vast and sacred.
In this journey of awakening, let us find the courage to stand firm in the face of injustice, guided by the light of our inner wisdom. Let us be vessels of peace, channels for love, and instruments of harmony. The future is not written in the stars; it is carved by the choices we make, the dreams we dare to dream, and the spirit we bring into the world.
Together, let us dream a world into being—a world where every life is sacred, where every being is a reflection of the divine, and where we all walk in harmony with the Earth and each other. The time has come to awaken, to dream a better world into existence—one where every soul is honored, every spirit is uplifted, and every life is cherished as part of the great, sacred whole.
If you have reached this far then I hope it means you like what I’m doing and if so you might consider supporting me by ‘buying me a coffee’ ( Substack does not let me monetize my articles because I am based in India) which is a one off payment rather than a continuous subscription. Payments, however small, encourage me in my writing and mean that I can spend more time honing my skills.
You can buy my book about my 1800 km walk through India through my website. Thankyou, really! You people have been such a strong support system. Have a wonderful week ahead.
There is one more thing by the way.
Most of you came along on this Substack after reading stories from Saving a Village. There I mentioned the urgency of taking measures against the imminent deforestation, coastal highway projects alongside chemical and oil factories that are about to open up on this eco-sensitive zone. This might end up destroying many villages, including mine, and thus I have decided to walk this 500 km stretch of land. My aim isn’t political, nor am I pointing fingers at any specific companies or factories. Instead I want to speak in each village about change being the only impermanent thing - but this change being the right direction rather than a wrong one. I do not wish to make myself a hero. If anything I will be happy to witness this piece of land and its dying culture. Although if I end up making people aware about this situation than I will be content thinking that I did what was in my power.
For this I would need your help. To plan out the walk, to take care of necessary supplies means having enough funds. I could start a kickstarter or manage crowdfunding through some other website, but none of those options are available to me here in India. So, I will be dependant on your donations. You can donate through paypal - here’s the link. I can even send out a personalised postcards if the donations are above $30.
I will talk about it in detail in the upcoming newsletters. Thanks again!
