Your words always move me Ashutosh! I get completely engrossed. I have had this thought of moving abroad for "better opportunities". But I know I will be lonely and miserable. I cannot imagine a life where i am simply working to survive and pay my bills and losing sight of what I really care about. So thank you for sharing this
Thanks Moloya! Isn’t it the case most of the time, that when we are here, we want to be there and when we reach there, we miss here. I guess what helped me was finding that wherever I was was the most happy place to be in. Other things didn’t matter.
I know many like the life in the West. I don’t detest it. I loved my time there but I chose the most crazy things and went and worked on the weirdest jobs that no other Indian would do - that made me understand the society and its people. That no matter where you go people are people - just like us. We just have to find the place that suits us and helps us to live a life with purpose. For me it was my village - connecting with my roots. Its a western dream that we were all intoxicated with - turned out that it was just as miserable as living in an urban city in India. Although this might be totally different for someone else!
Beautiful! This article resonated so much that I feel compelled to say this: Me coming across this article here, was the Universe's way of telling me that my current thoughts and anxiety are completely normal and that I just need to stop controlling things and go for it! Thanks a lot, Ashutosh!!

Have a good ride my friend!
Sorry but Amazon says your book is not available on Kindle or paperback.
Hi Bob, here’s a link to buy my book through my website. www.ashutoshjoshi.in
Thanks, but I was after a Kindle version. I'm a long way from India, though I've been there many times.
